Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh in T20

Sri Lanka registered a 17-run victory over Bangladesh in the one-off Twenty20 international in Pallekele on Sunday.

Bangladesh finished at 181-7 in reply to Sri Lanka's 198-5, with Mohammad Ashraful (43), skipper Mushfiqur Rahim (39) and Mohammad Mahmudullah (31) being the main scorers.

Jesse Ryder feeling 'heaps better' after waking up from coma

New Zealand all-rounder Jesse Ryder has said he is feeling 'heaps better' in his first public statement after a street attack put him in intensive care.

Ryder, 28, was admitted to hospital in the early hours of Thursday morning and placed in an induced coma after suffering multiple injuries, including a fractured skull, in an attack outside a bar.

Pakistan drop 'out-of-form' Younis Khan from Champions Trophy squad

Pakistan has dropped out-of-form Younis Khan from a 30-man initial squad for the eight-nation Champions Trophy.
The move comes after the middle order batsman failed to perform in recent one-day matches.

England out-batted, out-bowled and out-thought by New Zealand: Alec Stewart

Former England cricket captain Alec Stewart has said that the Alastair Cook-led national squad were out-batted, out-bowled and out-thought by New Zealand during their tour of that country.
Stewart said England would do well to improve skills in all departments of the game ahead of this year's Ashes series.
