Alastair Cook may 'doctor' home pitches to 'fry' Aussies during Ashes

England captain Alastair Cook has said that England is ready to beat Australia during the Ashes series this year.

Refusing to rule out preparing a string of turning wickets, Cook said that his team is going to use the advantage of the first Ashes set being played at home to rout Australia, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

Cook further said that although the pitch conditions depended on the weather at that time, he and his players will try to set it up the pitch the best they can.

However, the England skipper said his team needed to be careful that they do not over-complicate the conditions as then it may backfire on them. (ANI)
